Exalytics Unable to Upgrade OVS (Doc ID 2636173.1)

Oracle VM - Version 3.3.1 and later

Symptoms

The upgrade button is gray-out when attempting to upgrade Oracle VM Server  from the console the upgrade process fails with:
 ERROR: Skipping upgrade of server: <FQDN-server>. Please use the UI or the Web Services API to perform the upgrade.
 INFO: Evaluating if any storage arrays need their plug-ins updated.
