(Doc ID 2650339.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 06, 2023
Applies to:
Private Cloud Appliance - Version 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 [Release 2.0]Linux x86-64
Symptoms
PCA pre-checks fail while trying to upgrade to 2.3.4.
The "pca_upgrader -V ..." reported failures. The /var/log/pca_upgrader log shows the first error is:
This might be reported for more than one and various compute nodes.
Subsequent reruns fail with the same "Failed to complete SSH:" error, but subsequent "server .... does not exist" messages may be for different compute nodes.
The OVM Manager and "pca-admin list compute-node" show the compute nodes are present and not in any error status.
Neither of the following resolve the issue:
- service ovmm stop; service ovmm start
- disabling password-less authentication on the OVM command-line interface
