Symptoms


Scenario:
The LDAP service started showing issues intermittently and LDAP users had issues logging into servers via SSH. The IPA servers showed below error in the error log:

[04/Feb/2020:19:31:22.014322202 -0800] - ERR - agmt="cn=masterAgreement1-IPA-server-pki-tomcat" (server2:389) - clcache_load_buffer - Can't locate CSN xxxxxx in the changelog (DB rc=-30988). If replication stops, the consumer may need to be reinitialized.

[04/Feb/2020:19:31:22.018684463 -0800] - ERR - NSMMReplicationPlugin - send_updates - agmt="cn=masterAgreement1-IPA-server-pki-tomcat" (server2:389): Data required to update replica has been purged from the changelog. If the error persists the replica must be reinitialized.
[04/Feb/2020:19:31:23.087363429 -0800] - ERR - agmt="cn=masterAgreement1-server2.local-pki-tomcat" (server3:389) - clcache_load_buffer - Can't locate CSN xxxxxx in the changelog (DB rc=-30988). If replication stops, the consumer may need to be reinitialized.
