Oracle Linux: Mounting with Higher Values of 'rsize' and 'wsize' Options Results with Lower Values Mounted (Doc ID 2660599.1)

When trying to mount with a higher value of 1048576 rize/wsize its mounting with lower value 262144 rize/wsize  

# mount -t nfs -o vers=3,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576 <NFS-SERVER.EXAMPLE.COM>:/home/storage/ /mnt/ -vvv
mount.nfs: timeout set for Tue Mar 24 17:46:11 2020
mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=3,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576,addr=<NFS-SERVER-IP>'
mount.nfs: prog 100003, trying vers=3, prot=6

mount.nfs: prog 100005, trying vers=3, prot=17
mount.nfs: trying <NFS-SERVER-IP> prog 100005 vers 3 prot UDP port 20048
# mount |grep -i /mnt
<NFS-SERVER.EXAMPLE.COM>:/home/storage/ on /mnt type nfs (rw,relatime,vers=3,rsize=262144,wsize=262144,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,mountaddr=<NFS-SERVER-IP>,
