Symptoms
Unable to mount CIFS DFS share, mount command outputs the following error:
mount error(6): No such device or address Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)
The following error message will appear in /var/log/messages:
kernel: [ 406.131134] CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -6
