Symptoms

For KVM host environment that uses proxy Self Hosted Engine(SHE) deployment gets stuck for long time at:

[ INFO ] TASK [ovirt.hosted_engine_setup : Install Oracle oVirt repo]
[ INFO ] ok: [localhost -> <VM FQDN>]
[ INFO ] TASK [ovirt.hosted_engine_setup : Install oVirt Engine packages for restoring backup]

Also, seen in Step 3 : Preparing VM for deploying using Cockpit:

 


Then after a while, it fails with errors like:
