Symptoms

Creating bonding port on Oracle VM Manager fails:
OVMAPI_4010E Attempt to send command: ovs_bond_config to server: OVS01 failed. OVMAPI_4004E Sync command failed on server: 10.10.10.1. Command: ovs_bond_config, Server error: org.apache.xmlrpc.XmlRpcException: :Command: ['/etc/xen/scripts/linuxbridge/ovs-bond-if', 'start', 'bondm=bond0', 'bondmode=1', 'primary=eth0', 'backup=eth2'] failed (1): stderr: /etc/xen/scripts/linuxbridge/ovs-bond-if: line 213: /sys/class/net/bonding_masters: Permission denied
