Goal

To guide the user on how to directly attach SAN Storage LUN to a Microsoft Windows Guest VM.

In this Document, we used Windows 2012 R2. Also, this Document can be applied to any Supported Microsoft Windows Server such as 2008 up to 2019 as well as the Microsoft Windows Desktop such as Windows 7 up to Windows 10. Please ensure the Latest VirtIO Software provided by Oracle is installed at the Microsoft Windows OS.

Pre-requisites:

Data Center and Cluster is already created.
KVM Hosts is already added to the Cluster.
Storage Domain (e.g. iSCSI or FC Storage Storage) is already created in the Data Center.
