Oracle Linux : "kesl" Process Encountered CPU Spike then System Went to Hung State

Symptoms
In Oracle Linux Server release 7.3 with 4.1.12-124.26.1.el7uek.x86_64 running on VMWare environment,
server went into hung state. Performing hard reset of the VM brings the system back to normal.
Prior the hung state, it can be noticed the the load on the server started to increase when "kesl" process encountered CPU spike.
It may have started to do scanning of newly spawned processes which was too many for the system to handle and led to hung state.
Load average continued to increase drastically until the system went into hung state.
