Authentication Failure With Sssd-ifp If Username Have 7+ Characters

Symptoms
After upgrading sssd, using yum update command, to the latest available version on Oracle Linux 7 (1.16.5-10.0.1.el7_9.5) : Users with a username of at least 7 characters can't log via sssd-ifp.
►What is working
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Authentication via pam (eg: ssh, xrdp) works without issue for all users.
Authentication via sssd-ifp works without issue for users with 6 or less characters in the username.
►What is Not working
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Authentication via sssd-ifp fails ~75% of tries for users with 7 or more characters in the username.
Changes
sssd update from previous to 1.16.5-10.0.1.el7_9.5 version
