Oracle Linux: gdb command crashing with segfault in libguile-2.0.so (Doc ID 2778849.1)

Symptoms

 When try to get coredump of a process with following command line, will get segfault.

 # gdb --nx --batch -ex "set use-coredump-filter off" -ex "attach {PID}" -ex "gcore core.{PID}" -ex detach -ex quit

 The following message will be logged in /var/log/messages. 

kernel: gdb[xxx]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f314d52110e sp 00007ffee58e3bf0 error 4 in libguile-2.0.so.22.8.1[7f314d438000+15a000]

Changes

 The locale is set to ja_JP.sjis.
