System Crash With "Bad FPU state detected" and "reinitializing FPU registers" (Doc ID 2781474.1)

Symptoms

A virtual machine or a cloud instance with CPU type known as the "Skylake" family, crashed and in the Call Trace(s) it is found messages related to FPU registers, like "Bad FPU state detected" and "reinitializing FPU registers.

In the vmcore-dmesg.txt or with the crash vmcore analyzer in the log messages can be found, eg.:

"Bad FPU state detected at __switch_to+0x1cb/0x505, reinitializing FPU registers."
