Accessing CIFS Shares Return An Input/Output Error After Prolonged Idle Period (Doc ID 2799455.1)

Symptoms


After a period of inactivity, accessing a CIFS share returns Input/output error. Shares have to be unmounted and then remounted to regain access.
Periodically accessing a share avoids the errors.
