OL8: Server Doesn't Boot with Newly Installed RHCK kernel (Doc ID 2809636.1)

Symptoms

Server doesn't come up with newly installed RHCK kernel. Grub menu also doesn't show new kernel entry during the boot. There is no UEK kernel installed in this case. 

But the default boot entry shows as the new kernel version. 

Old kernel in this case: kernel-4.18.0-147.el8.x86_64
