Symptoms


Linux Guest VM running on Oracle VM  failed to boot with the error as mentioned below


System unable to boot with "kernel-uek-5.4.17-2136.300.7.el7uek.x86_64",where as able to boot with "kernel-uek-4.1.12-94.3.9.el7uek.x86_64".

Changes

 Linux VM upgraded from OL 7.5 to OL 7.9 during this process kernel was upgraded to UEK6.
