An Oracle Linux 7 Azure/Hyper-V Virtual Machine (VM) guest fails to boot after kernel upgrade to UEKR5 version 4.14.35-2047.508.3.2.el7uek.

The system drops to and remains in the <fixed>dracut</fixed> shell.

Messages such as the following are reported to the system console:

The system was recently upgraded to UEKR5 version 4.14.35-2047.508.3.2.el7uek then rebooted.
