Symptoms

Microsoft Active Directory (AD) users login to an Oracle Linux 7.6 system running SSSD package version sssd-1.16.2-13.el7.x86_64.

Some AD users lack their expected AD group membership.

In the following example, two AD users are provisioned with identical group membership, however, upon login, the group membership for one user, user1 is not displayed e.g.:

Active Directory users were recently added to a new AD group.
