Symptoms
The system Kernel was updated but is still booting with the old Kernel.
Also, the new Kernel is not listed by GRUB during the boot.
/etc/grub2.cfg shows that the new Kernel is configured.
Changes
New Kernel installed.
The label of the /boot/efi filesystem has been updated in /etc/fstab
