Oracle VM :NFS Shares Not Mounting On VMs (Doc ID 2870931.1)

Symptoms

Unable to ping the NFS storage server from the VM hosted on the Oracle VM Server HOST-X.

Also unable to mount the NFS on the test VM when hosted on the Oracle VM Server HOST-X.

On testing the tcpdump for the bond and  bride and the Virtual interfaces/NIC's for the VM when hosted on the Oracle VM Server HOST-X we are getting echo requests on the bridge, bond and then vif 


VM shows the following messages:

messages:Feb 8 07:15:13 VM-hostname mount[4602]: mount to NFS server 'ww.xx.yy.zz' failed: No route to host, retrying
messages:Feb 8 07:15:16 VM-hostname mount[4603]: mount to NFS server 'ww.xx.yy.zz' failed: No route to host, retrying
messages:Feb 8 07:15:19 VM-hostname mount[4603]: mount to NFS server 'ww.xx.yy.zz' failed: No route to host, retrying

Changes

 The Oracle VM Server was reinstalled after a hardware replacement (In this case the motherboard was replaced)
