Oracle Linux: Server Boot Hung at "Tried to locate /boot/vmlinuz" (Doc ID 2874888.1)

Symptoms

Server booting gets hung at the below screen. 

Booting the server to a single user reports the following error(Ignore the different kernel version in below screenshot. The error is same for any kernel).

 

Booting the server into rescue mode reveals that, there is no directory with the required kernel version is present in /lib/modules/ location.
