OLVM: Unable To Create Logical Network (VLAN) On Interfaces Used For FCoE (Doc ID 2880494.1)

Symptoms

Unable to create logical network (VLAN) on interfaces used for FCoE. When attempting to create new network, the following errors are logged in engine.log:

2022-06-29 14:21:34,491-04 ERROR [org.ovirt.engine.core.dal.dbbroker.auditloghandling.AuditLogDirector] (default task-9) [ce501259-fa9d-4605-9976-5f5b8a922fd5] EVENT_ID: VDS_BROKER_COMMAND_FAILURE(10,802), VDSM KvmHost command HostSetupNetworksVDS failed: nic nic1 already used by (VLANTAG,)
2022-06-29 14:21:34,491-04 ERROR [org.ovirt.engine.core.vdsbroker.vdsbroker.HostSetupNetworksVDSCommand] (default task-9) [ce501259-fa9d-4605-9976-5f5b8a922fd5] Error: VDSGenericException: VDSErrorException: Failed to HostSetupNetworksVDS, error = nic nic11 already used by (VLANTAG,), code = 24

 

On the OLVM engine GUI is reports the following:

Operation Canceled
Error while executing action HostSetupNetworks: Interface already in use
