Oracle Linux: Modified crashkernel Value in /etc/default/grub Does Not get Updated in grub.cfg on BDA Server (Doc ID 2896330.1)

Symptoms

The crashkernel value in /etc/default/grub is changed to 256M@64M from 128M and grub2-mkconfig command is run but the new value does not get updated in grub.cfg
In this instance the server is a Big Data Appliance(BDA) node.
