Symptoms

Virtual machines(VM) intermittently loose network connectivity. Below are the symptoms observed.

• Network access to the VM is lost all of a sudden and recovers automatically
• During this phase, the VM is not reachable via ping, ssh etc
• You can access the VM through the console and find that it is not hung
• Ingress and egress traffic is completely blocked
• Even restarting network services will not resolve the issue

Changes

 These VMs were migrated from Oracle VM.
