Oracle Linux 8: Active Directory Authenticated Users Unable To Login to Linux Server After System Update (Doc ID 2924026.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Linux 8 (OL8) system is configured to authenticate it's Active Directory (AD) users via SSSD.  After updating the system from version 8.5 to version 8.7, users experience <HOSTNAME> sshd[2620663]: pam_sss(sshd:auth): received for user <USER>@<EXAMPLE>.com: 7 (Authentication failure) when attempting to login via SSH.

The Broken package version was sssd-common-2.5.2-2.0.1.el8_5.4.x86_64, and the issue is fixed in sssd-common-2.7.3-4.0.1.el8.x86_64
