Symptoms

A Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL8) system is being migrated to Oracle Linux (OL8) using the recommended Switch process - https://linux.oracle.com/switch.html.

During the migration, running dnf(8) to update the system with OL8 packages, the following error is reported:
