Oracle Linux: Network Interface Status Shows "unmanaged" with nmcli Command After OS Upgrade (Doc ID 2935018.1)

After performing a leapp upgrade from OL7 to OL8 the "nmcli dev status" command reports the status of the network interface as unmanaged

The system will be reachable over network but nmcli still reports the network device as unmanaged.
