Oracle Linux: iPXE Boot and IP Configuration Lost after 24 Hours (Doc ID 2962369.1)

Symptoms

A system that boots via iPXE has normally the dhcp module automatically added in the initramfs via dracut, so such a system will get an ip address assigned during boot.

However, after 24 hours that ip address is lost.
