Symptoms

 Changes were made to ifcfg-ethX file to alter parameters such as NETMASK,GATEWAY,etc. Post changes below error was noticed when network service was restarted.

Changes to parameters such as NETMASK,GATEWAY,etc were made in ifcfg-ethX file.
