Symptoms
On BIOS-based machines, using grub2-mkconfig to modify the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX parameter in the /etc/default/grub configuration file with a new kernel parameter does not affect the new kernel parameter after a reboot.
- Check the new kernel parameter values.
