Symptoms

An Oracle Linux 7 (OL7) system is configured to authenticate it's Microsoft Active Directory user base via SSSD/LDAP.
Users attempting to connect to the server, especially during periods of high/frequent server, user login attempts from SFTP client fail. The exact SFTP login error was not provided.
