OLVM: CommVault Backups started to Fail - Domain already contains a disk with that address (Doc ID 3047858.1)

Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 8.10 with Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel [5.15.0] and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

The current Backup Solution runs in CommVault and a running Proxy VM in OLVM.
CommVauilt backups stopped working without noticeable changes.

Engine Log reports:

Requested operation is not valid: Domain already contains a disk with that address
Failed to attach Disk boot@<DISK NAME> to VM <COMMVAULT PROXY VM> (User: <USER>@internal-authz).

CommVault log files report a similar message:

Failed to hot-plug disk

 

Changes

No changes in the Environment.
