OLVM: Kernel Options - Hugepages - Not Being Saved in the KVM Hosts (Doc ID 3052741.1)

Linux OS - Version Oracle Linux 8.10 with Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel [5.15.0] and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

Through the OLVM Admin Portal, Kernel Options were added for each KVM Host.
Upon the KVM Host reinstallation and consequent reboot, the Kernel options are not active.

Changes

The procedure described in Doc ID 2811114.1 sets the Hypervisor to run with Hugepages.
After the restart, the KVM host still does not have any Hugepages configured.

# cat /proc/meminfo | grep HugePages
AnonHugePages: 0 kB
ShmemHugePages: 0 kB
FileHugePages: 0 kB
HugePages_Total: 0
HugePages_Free: 0
HugePages_Rsvd: 0
HugePages_Surp: 0
