OCS(9.0.4 to 10.1.x.x) and other applications running on Linux x86.

Goal

The summary area of the top command output shows always a low value for free memory and as such suggests high memory usage;

top - 13:01:44 up 30 days,  3:26, 49 users,  load average: 3.49, 3.50, 3.46
Tasks: 284 total,   5 running, 279 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie
Cpu(s): 18.4% us,  5.6% sy,  0.0% ni,  0.0% id, 75.3% wa,  0.3% hi,  0.3% si
Mem:   1028412k total,  1005612k used,    22800k free,    48836k buffers
Swap:  4200956k total,  1403696k used,  2797260k free,   348532k cached
