OCFS2 Link Failure With DLM Status DLM_IVLOCKID On InfiniBand Private Interconnect (Doc ID 747362.1)

When using InfiniBand as the OCFS2 private interconnect, you receive link failure messages similar to:

(4207,0):dlm_do_master_request:1429 ERROR: link to 1 went down!

System-level commands such as ls(1) may hang on this or other cluster nodes.

To see if this solution applies to you, please check the state of the ics_sdp service:

# /sbin/chkconfig --list ics_sdp
ics_sdp  0:off  1:off  2:off  3:off  4:off  5:on  6:off

If the service shows an on state, please continue with this note.  If this service is not running, this note does not apply to you.
