After updating the Linux kernel, rebooting hangs starting the EMC PowerPath service. Manually starting the service shows the output:
- # /etc/init.d/PowerPath start
Starting PowerPath: modinfo: could not find module /etc/opt/emcpower/EMCpower.LINUX-5.1.0/bin/driver/
This PowerPath driver version magic mismatch
and the system hangs.
Kernel of working system was upgraded and then the system rebooted. Problem occurred on first and all subsequent reboots.
