Symptoms

When you manually shutdown the guest OS, the Oracle VM Manager still lists it as 'Running' under Virtual Machines tab for some time. The cron job OVSDatacollector is configured but the following errors can be found in /opt/ovs-manager-2.1/OVSDataCollector/OVSDataCollector.log*, e.g.:

Jun 3, 2009 4:54:02 PM com.oracle.oardc.ovs.OVSDataCollector main
INFO: ===start=== data collection 1,2,3 ...
Jun 3, 2009 4:54:02 PM com.oracle.oardc.ovs.OVSDataCollector getConnection
SEVERE: java.sql.SQLException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
The Connection descriptor used by the client was:
//xx.xx.xx.xx:1524/<Service_Name>

Changes
