Error 'ORA-12514' When Running OVSDataCollector on Oracle VM Manager (Doc ID 843461.1)

Symptoms

When you manually shutdown the guest OS, the Oracle VM Manager still lists it as 'Running' under Virtual Machines tab for some time. The cron job OVSDatacollector is configured but the following errors can be found in /opt/ovs-manager-2.1/OVSDataCollector/OVSDataCollector.log*, e.g.:

Installed Oracle VM Manager using an existing Oracle database, other than the default XE database on localhost.
