/proc/meminfo Does Not Provide HugePages Information on Oracle Linux 5 (Doc ID 860350.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Linux 5 the system does not seem to be supporting HugePages (HugeTLB). i.e.:

# cat /proc/meminfo
MemTotal:     33554432 kB
MemFree:        330292 kB
Buffers:        340272 kB
Cached:       28043320 kB
SwapCached:     119428 kB

Bounce:              0 kB
