E-PIA: Unable to Login ..."Cannot display the webpage" Error Received After Entering Credentials in Signon Page (Doc ID 1055996.1)

PIA signon page displays correctly and user is trying to signon with correct userid and password.

When attempting to logon to PIA using IE
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

Firefox if used will complain about "Address Not Found" after entering user credentials

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Edit the Virtual Addressing for current Webprofile used by PIA and enter any wrong server name + port and protocol:

- Navigate to People Tools > Web Profile >  Web Profile Configuration > (Select current webprofile) > Virtual Addressing page and enter under  Default Addressinfg: the following http (Protocol) + (Name) + 8080 (port)
- Save and bounce PIA

Try to logon to PIA but this is not possible anymore using previous URL


Web Profile was modified and Virtual Addressing (Default Addressing) was set while PIA was bounced
