Symptoms
When EFFDT is changed on any job row that has multiple Effective Sequence rows in HCM, corresponding EFFDT row is getting deleted from PS_LM_PERSON_ATTRB record in ELM.
WORKFORCE_SYNC transformation that is used for integration between HCM 8.9 and ELM 9 maps LM_HIRE_DT to ORIG_HIRE_DT of PER_ORG_INST record. Since HCM 8.9 publishes WORKFORCE_SYNC with no transactional data for PER_ORG_INST in case of job data updates for an existent employment instance such as salary or position data changes, LM_HIRE_DT is nulled out as a result of the transformation.
Replication Steps:
1) Login in HRMS
2) Add multiple effective Sequence rows on same effdt.
3) Click on correction mode
4) Select and modify the effdt of one of the employee rows
5) Verify the rows exist in LM_PERSON_ATTRB record in ELM
