Benefits Administration Open Enrollment Information Center > Troubleshooting Benefits Administration > Troubleshooting Benefits Administration Errors
When attempting to process a MSC event through Benefits Administration for a JOB row of leave without pay, the following error occurs:

Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'EFFDT', table 'HR90PRD.dbo.PS_HEALTH_BENEFIT'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter a Leave without Pay row in JOB (Administer Workforce > Job)
2. Process in MSC event for this employee through On Demand (Benefits > Automated Benefits > On Demand )
