How Price is Updated on a Partially Received Purchase Order (PO is Tied to a Contract) After Reducing the Quantity (Doc ID 1087748.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 12, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Purchasing - Version 9 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Decreasing the quantity on a Purchase Order (PO) line that is partially received with a future Due Date. The PO line is linked to a Contract with Price Adjustments dated prior to the Due Date on the PO. The Price Adjustment was entered on the Contract after the PO was received. When the quantity on the line is decreased the price will adjust according to the Contract line Price Adjustment schedule. Attached are screen shots of this example.

It is expected that the price on the PO Line would not change based on the Contract and stay constant when "reducing" the quantity.
