You observe what appears to be inconsistent behavior when updating an Inventory Count Event via the online page versus via the PHYSICAL_INVENTORY EIP and the 'Physical Inventory' process (INPIPHYS)
- When adding an additional Item in a Cycle Count Event using the on-line page (navigation: Inventory, Inventory Counts, Perform Count, Update Counting Event), a warning is produced but the Item is successfully added.
- When doing the same by referencing the existing Count Event ID and using the PHYSICAL_INVENTORY EIP and running the 'Physical Inventory' process (INPIPHYS) (navigation: SCM Integrations, Process Transactions, Inventory, Physical Inventory), the transaction row is marked in error for the following reason:
Unmatched count line in the counting event
