Goal
When creating a Requisition in Purchasing or in eProcurement, 2 fields have to be populated:
- The 'Ship To Location' field also called 'Ship To' at the Requisition line and the Requisition schedule line level. This Location is defined in the 'Ship To Locations' page (navigation: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain, Product Related, Procurement Options, Purchasing, Ship To Locations).
- The 'Location' field at the Requisition distribution line level. This Location is defined in the 'Location' page (navigation: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain, Common Definitions, Location, Location).
Both fields seem to have something to do with locations but what is the functional difference between them and how are they used in Inventory and on the Packing Slip when the Requisition is sourced from Inventory?
