Purpose

PeopleSoft Billing Home 1329649.1 > PeopleSoft Billing Setup Primary Case Studies 1333880.1 > 1103013.1


The purpose of the document is to lists the performance recommendations for some of the Billing batch programs and for some of the tables related to the Billing module. All the recommendations are based on the customer cases and benchmark findings.

The attached file Histogram.doc is an extract from the Billing and Inventory Tuning Reports that recommend the Histogram solution. It also shows how to run the histogram or column distribution statistics on different database platforms.

Scope

The recommendation is based on the application version so that customer gets a version-specific recommendation. These documents are for Billing versions 8.9 ,9, 9.1 and 9.2.
