When running nVision through the Process Scheduler, it failed with the following error message written to the logs :

Another symptom that can occur is when opening nVision client, (psnvs.exe), through the Windows 2008 server, the logon window does not open. Instead, it does nothing. No Excel.exe or Psnvs.exe processes were spawned in Task Manager. Opening Application Designer, (pside.exe), or the Query Client, (psqed.exe), works fine.
When tracing the problem with nVision TraceLevel=4, it was observed that the tracing stops at line "ForceRegister".
