When an environment is defined to use the BigIP Load Balancer, users are unable to view reports via the Report manager. This issue does not occur if the Load Balancer is removed from the environment.
The F5 Big IP Load Balancer is positioned in front of two Weblogic servers, which use the same port. Page access works properly and reports are generated, but they can only be viewed if the user navigates to the reports directly via the network location of the Report Repository.
The Load Balancer has been defined with a fully qualified domain name.
This issue can be reproduced with the following configuration and steps:
Web Server version including Service/Maintenance Pack level: Weblogic 8.2 SP5
Application Server platform : Windows 2003
Load Balancer F5 BigIP is being used with two Weblogic servers and one Application Server
1. Run any process through the Process Scheduler.
2. Once it goes to Success/Posted go to Process Monitor and try to view the output file.
3. It displays errors:
"The XML file returned by the web server is invalid." and "XML document object creation failed."
