Goal

If the Foreign Currency Code on the primary ledger = Base Currency Code on Translate ledger, why is PeopleSoft calculating these two scenarios differently?:

When the journal is entered on line,  PeopleSoft is carrying over the rate multiplier and foreign amount to the translate Ledger base amount but if imported using a spreadsheet or flat file import, it uses the rate type from on the ledger group.
