Job Hire Effective Date Change Makes Benefits Administration Unable to Process the New Hire Event (Doc ID 1156824.1)

Symptoms

After changing the effective date on the Hire row in Job, Benefits Administration will not process a Hire event with the new date.

STEPS
--------
1. Correct Job EFFDT to a date earlier than is currently on the row. Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data. Enter EMPLID in Correction Mode. Change the EFFDT on the HIRE record to a date that is earlier than is on the original record. Save.
2. Process Benefits Administration. Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > On Demand Event Maintenance. Click Schedule/process Event.
