Goal

Scenario: Pinging an Integration Broker PIA node is successful, but the Ping Node Results page shows an unexpected Connector URL value, for example of a Peoplesoft Integration Gateway URL, like this:

     http://{host}:{port}/PSIGW/PeopleSoftListeningConnector

The correspondent node definition on tab Connectors shows the PSFTTARGET connector with no properties at all, nothing that would suggest where the value of Connector URL comes from. Moreover, the URL's host in occasions is found to be pointing to a non-existent machine, and still the ping operation is successful, proving that the shown URL is not being used.

If that Connector URL value is not used in pinging PIA node, why does it appear on Ping Node Results pages, and how to get rid of it?
