Symptoms

On : 9.1 version, Closing

Received the following error trying to setup the Request Ledger Close run control:

SetID not found for name='BUSINESS_UNIT', value='' with record 'CLOSE_GRP_STEP', tree ''. (2,214) CLOSE_REQUEST.CLOSE_GRP_ID.RowInit Name:GetCloseGrpSteps PCPC:567 Statement:11
Called from:CLOSE_REQUEST.CLOSE_GRP_ID.RowInit Statement:38

The PeopleCode built-in function GetSetID has been called with parameters that were
not found in the table set definitions.

Review the table set control tables and the PeopleCode and correct whichever is wrong.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Navigation Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > User Preferences > Define User Preferences > General Preference > Overall Preference. Do not define any Business Unit and Setid.
2. Navigation General Ledger > Close Ledgers > Request Ledger Close. Add a new run control and save changes.


WHAT IS WORKING:

When defining a default Business Unit and SetID in Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > User Preferences > Define User Preferences > General Preference > Overall Preference it's working fine.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create any run control for Ledger Close process.
